Cycle to Cannes 2009

The Cycle to Cannes (C2C) charity challenge is an annual 6-day 1500km cycling endurance event which raises significant funds for a number of charities: The Duke of Edinburgh's Award, The Sarah Matheson Trust, Article 25, The Tom ap Rhys Pryce Memorial Trust and Land Aid. Since 2006, Cycle to Cannes has given over £500,000 to good causes.

The 2009 event was spread over six days, starting in Greenwich Park and finishing in Cannes, where most riders then changed out of their Lycra and into their business suits to attend the MIPIM property fair. This year's event saw 65 riders setting out on 5 March, with the aim of raising £280,000.

Lomas Davies is an active supporter of the event, having participated in the ride in previous years and provided real-time IT support to riders taking part in the 2009 ride.
